This portrait was painted by Diego Rivera another very famous artist of his time. He was also married to Frida Kahlo and they had a very interesting relatioship. I love this portrait, because it confirms the idea that Diego loved women, he was a ladies man and often drew women. This portrait has a lot to offer, its called nude with lillies.

Frida, one of the most influential artists of her time. I admire her couragious attitude when it came to her work. Many of her portraits i find inspiring especially her self portraits. The first picture is an actual picture of Frida and the second is one of how she saw herself. One of her famous quotes is:"I never paint dreams or nightmares. I paint my own reality."-Frida Kahlo

I chose this picture because of its symbolic meaning. It screams equality among migrant farm workers. It tells a story of many who suffered under the intense working conditions as farm workers. My favorite detail about this painting has to be Cesar Estrada Chavez's arm its drawn as corn and the leaves to it is his sleeve and shirt.
